Junior Concours

Sunday 21st February

Enter in the Junior Concours

Future Classics. Future Enthusiasts.

New for 2027, the Ayrburn Classic is proud to introduce the Junior Concours - a celebration of the next generation of motoring enthusiasts.

Taking place within the Family Zone on Sunday 21st February, the Junior Concours will showcase a collection of half-scale pedal cars, electric vehicles, ride-on cars, and hand-built automotive creations from young enthusiasts across New Zealand.

Inspired by the world's great concours events, the Junior Concours is designed to encourage creativity, craftsmanship, and a passion for motoring, while creating unforgettable memories for families attending the festival.

Young entrants will take on the role of Works Driver, while parents, grandparents, or guardians become the Chief Mechanic, helping prepare their vehicle for judging and presentation.

Displayed amongst the sights, sounds, and excitement of the Ayrburn Classic, Junior Concours entrants will enjoy their own dedicated showcase area and awards presentation as part of the festival weekend.

Whether it's a beautifully restored pedal car, a custom-built electric racer, a miniature replica of a motoring icon, or a much-loved family favourite, the Junior Concours celebrates the imagination and enthusiasm that keeps automotive culture alive for future generations.
