Hartfield announced as presenting partner of the inaugural Ayrburn Classic Concours Class

The Ayrburn Classic is delighted to announce Hartfield Jewellers as the official sponsor of the inaugural Ayrburn Classic Concours, debuting at the 2027 event from 19th - 21st February 2027.

The introduction of the Concours marks an exciting new chapter for the Ayrburn Classic, bringing together a carefully curated collection of exceptional motor vehicles to be judged and celebrated within the spectacular grounds of Ayrburn and displayed at the centerpiece on Billy's Lawn.

"We're incredibly excited to welcome Hartfield Jewellers onboard for the inaugural Concours," says Ayrburn Classic Event Director Katherine Flanagan. "The Concours is something we've wanted to introduce as the Classic continues to evolve, both domestically and internationally. We're building a competition that celebrates not just beautiful cars, but their history, authenticity, preservation and craftsmanship and we see Hartfield as the perfect match for this next chapter".

The Concours will showcase a limited field of outstanding vehicles, selected following an application and curation process. Cars will be assessed by an experienced judging panel across key criteria including authenticity, condition, craftsmanship, cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail.

The ultimate honour, Best in Show, will be awarded to the vehicle considered by the judging panel to represent the highest overall standard within the Concours field and will be awarded on the Sunday afternoon of the festival.

Set amongst Ayrburn's historic buildings, gardens and surrounding Central Otago landscape, the Concours will become one of the centrepieces of the three-day Ayrburn Classic and an important addition to the event's ambition to establish itself on the international motoring calendar.

The partnership with Hartfield's also reflects a shared commitment to New Zealand's collector-car community and to creating opportunities for remarkable vehicles - and the stories behind them - to be seen and celebrated.
